Since this was a destination wedding, I was already planning on flying out a night or two before the wedding. The bride and I had been in communication for months planning every aspect of this wedding.  Since it was out of state and across waters, I needed to be sure I was on the same page as the bride.  Luckily, she was getting married at her finances family coffee estate in West Maui, Hawaii. As we coordinated, she showed me the property little by little and we mapped out where we were going to shoot everything. Unfortunately, they are located a little too far up the mountain and we wouldn’t be able to make it to the beach for sunset photographs. Instead, I offered to do a pre-wedding couples shoot at the beach before their wedding. I was so excited to do a wet beach engagement shoot and thankfully they were down to get into the ocean! This made for GREAT playful images where they are truly enjoying themselves. The Maui tropical sunset was perfectly falling over the horizon and there were colorful skies in the photographs. This was the best to get ready for a wedding!
