As a wedding photographer, I’ve captured countless beautiful weddings across California, but I knew I wanted something unique for my own special day! My husband, who is originally from Romania, and I were choosing between three countries, as he had moved to Canada as a child. To make it fair, we decided everyone would need to fly to our wedding. This decision not only kept our guest list small but also saved us money. To our delight, Italy turned out to be far more affordable than anywhere in California. For a four-night stay for ten people, including all meals and the event itself, it was only a quarter of our budget! The florals and other luxurious add-ons were still within our reach. The memories we created with our intimate group were priceless and are memories we will cherish forever. Our guests appreciated the much-needed vacation, and they still reminisce about our wedding as if it were yesterday! Afterward, my husband and I enjoyed a mini-moon, driving from Tuscany to Lake Como. It was perfect to celebrate with loved ones and then escape for quality time together!
