Let’s just put it this way, if you’re from out of town and visiting, I would take you to Orchard City Kitchen at the Pruneyard in Campbell, California. In fact, that is exactly what I do! I do it because this place is the best resturant in all of San Jose, California. Its mid-range priced, flavorful, farm to table, and you don’t walk away feeling overly full. Tapas style is my personal favorite because you get a little bit of everything that the chef has to offer! Clearly, I have been going to Orchard City Kitchen since it has opened and felt it was time to finally write why I love this restaurant so much. This place you have to call and make a reservation for any day of the week…. it is the popular!

First things first, you have to order the top 3 items that have been on the menu practically since the beginning. Orchard City Kitchen is a farm to table restaurant, a lot of dishes changed due to what is in season. For a cocktail I recommend ordering the OG Milk Punch. I not only love it for the flavor, but it comes with a little ceramic milk carton with extra inside, so it’s like getting 2 cocktails at once! Next the Triple B is a must order! It’s candy bacon with honey butter and a delicious warm biscuit… literally my mouth is drooling as I write this! Trust me, you can thank me later for recommending that dish. My brother sometimes will order it for dessert because its just the perfect sweet and savory treat. Lastly, I highly recommend ordering the KFC, Korean Fried Chicken, with a delicious sweet and sour flavors. A few other dishes I recommend are: Brussels sprouts, Hamachi Sashimi, Salom, and the Game Hen. (Photos Below).

Chef has a really fun creating these desserts you can tell because they are a play of childhood treats, or just colorfully displayed. His soft serves are the best and this time it was a Banana Split. The S’more Chocolate Square was everything, if you love dark chocolate and gooey mashrallow, this is the desert for you. No those are not quail eggs and onions, this is the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. I’m not sure which was my favorite, because they were all so delicious!!
