I know most people would assume that a cloudy, rainy day would not be ideal for a photoshoot. I am here to tell you that this assumption is wrong! Laura and Brian came to me a few weeks out from her due date and wanted some last minute maternity photos. We deiced to meet up at Calero Reservoir County Park. The clouds continued to get darker as the shoot went on, and I figured that rain was coming for us. Instead of running for cover we made the best of it. ‘It’s like the notebook’ I yelled. You know that scene, when Allie and Noah get caught in the rain on the boat and kiss after all those years (swoon). The whole shoot felt like a movie scene, we were laughing and having the best time. Lauras maternity dress was perfect for this occasion too. The dark red looked so stunning with the darker atmosphere, and looked so great with her baby bump. At the end of the shoot we headed back to our cars to warm up and dry off and I headed home to edit the session. I was so excited to deliver these photos. As much as I love a sunny day, these rainy photos turned out perfect!
