Since I travel so much these days, I figured I would expand my blog with not only hotel travel guides, but more restaurants. I’m building my TripAdvisor portfolio, and I might as well share it here with all of you too! I spent a little over 24 in LA and tied a few new restaurants all over the city. From the heart of the city to even downtown.
For brunch, Eric, his boyfriend Andrew, and myself walked to Bluestone Lane. They have just moved into a new part of LA and we decided to hit up all the places around their new apartment. Eric kept talking about this cute place on the corner that was not only cafe, but a floral shop and has a to-go window. I looooved the decor in this cafe! From the chandelier, to the mural on the wall, and the tiles in the bistro area. Of course I order an almond milk matcha, Eric got the drip coffee, and Andrew order a cappuccino. I always love trying fresh pressed juices and seeing what flavors people put together. I loved the Torquay with turmeric, orange, carrot, pineapple, and ginger root. 100% wish I ordered another! The boys decided to get salads, the vegan bowl and moroccan grain, and I wanted to explore something a bit more flavor blasting! The Brekkie Board was the perfect idea because it was a half order of the Avocado Smash and Warm Coconut Quinoa & Oat Porridge.

My friend Tracy and her boyfriend took me to a super trendy place, and 100% worth it! If you’re a kid or even a big kid at heart, go to Button Mash! It was a little loud, but that’s just part of the experience because of the games. They only serve beer and wine, so keep that in mind if you’re wanting a fun craft cocktail. I ordered a pretty tasty Kombucha and tons of food! Double-Fried Ginger Chicken Wings, Fries, Orange Bang Cauliflower, and the most delicious Garlic Noodles. Ramen is my favorite, so of course we ordered 2 of the Garlic Noodles!

The best part about living in a city is waking up and being able to walk to a restaurant. Zinc Cafe & Market is perfect for the art district in downtown LA. I love places like this, where you can grab something delicious and healthy on the go or stay in and order. We sat on the patio for potential dog sightings, and no I am not kidding. I ordered an oat milk match and a green blend juice. With all the traveling I’ve been doing, I try to keep my diet on track, and a pressed juice is always great way to start my days. I really loved my steal cut oats with nuts, berries, and oat milk. This is the type of place you’ll go more often than you think. It’s really delicious and I can’t wait to go back again.
