Do you want to know what I love most about Marriotts? They are consistent, you always know what you are going to get. When I arrived to Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, I felt right at home because it was familiar. The layout of the hotel might be different at each location, but their quality and customer service is always the say- excellent!
The hotel itself was a decent size, right at the end of the strip of resorts in Palm Beach, Aruba. There is a casino, 2 pools, 3 restaurants, shopping, a Starbucks, kid area, fitness center, and a lot of palapas on the beach! Plus, there is a casino!! This is the perfect family friendly or romantic honeymoon destination!
As for the pools, one is an adult only pool with cabanas you can rent. I highly recommend if you want a little peace and quiet. There were a lot of families while I was at Aruba Marriott, and it was a little quieter at the adult pool. In order to reserve a Cabana you must do so ahead of time online, and it’s an additional $75 a day. Also, you have to reserve a palapa as well, and those are $30 a day. There are plenty of palapas at the beach, so don’t worry about them running out! You do not need to reserve anything at the public pool, it’s free to grab a chair. Personally, when traveling to a beach destination, I’d rather sit at the beach everyday, especially when the water is crystal clean and the sand is pure white! BUT, I did loved sitting by the adult pool for a day, it was a nice change!
My hotel room was MASSIVE and had the most magical view! It was located at the far end of the hallway and over looked the ocean. Not a bad way to wake up in the morning! Each morning before heading down to the beach, I would make a cup of coffee in my room and just sit on the balcony listening to the birds chirp and the waves crash along the shoreline. Truly the perfect way to start every morning. Plus when I needed a break from the extreme heat, I would come back to this balcony and still enjoy the view while having some room service snacks!

Speaking of food, I would either enjoy La Vista Restaurant, Aruba Marriotts buffet restaurant and eon for every meal, or grab an Acai bowl from the gelato shop downstairs. The fancy restaurants were Ruth Chris and Atardi. I loved going to Atardi because it was all fresh local fish, and my table was right on the beach! Ruth Chris is an American staple that I can get LITERALLY ANYWHERE in the United States. So why go there, when I can sit at the beach every single night and enjoy delicious local favors! Some people like familiarities when they travel, and Aruba Marriott provides that with having Ruth Chris and Starbucks as an options… I am just not like those kind of people. I want to experience different things when I can, so to each their own!
This was my favorite restaurant on site! We scheduled or dinner for sunset not he last night, and it was the best idea! Honestly, just because I love fresh fish, I would have gone here every night. The service was over the top, but even if it wasn’t I wouldn’t care because the views are worth everything! They really cared about my food allergies and made sure I didn’t eat specific dishes. Any restaurant who goes above and beyond for that, is a 5 star in my book!!

Have you signed up to become a member of Marriott – Plan? I was grateful to have an account during my stay because I received discounts on many of my purchases! I highly recommend signing up before you book your stay with any Marriotts!
If you are wanting to get away from the resort for a little bit, then I highly recommend doing a sunset sail with De Palm Tours! They have so many things to choose from! There are ATV tours, shuttle to the airport, island bus tours, snorkeling, and so much more! If you are staying in Palm Beach where all of the resorts are, you don’t need to have the hotel shuttle service. Everything is so close, you can literally walk from the Marriott to the dock.
The sunset tour was about 2 hours long, filled with dancing, open bar and snacks. It was a great way to see more of the island, as well as see a different view of the magical Aruba sunset. I highly recommend booking this excursion for any group occassion or romantic honeymoon.
