Editorial imagery for couples saying “I do” in the City of Light — La Ville Lumière
There is no city more romantic than Paris. Cobblestone streets at golden hour. The Seine glittering under wrought-iron bridges. Cafés that have served coffee for two hundred years. Chateaux just outside the city where French aristocracy once danced. Paris is built for love stories. The kind that deserve photographs as timeless as the city itself.
I’m Paulina, an award-winning international wedding photographer. I create editorial, story-driven imagery for couples and families across Paris and beyond. Maybe you’re planning an intimate ceremony at Trocadéro. A chateau wedding outside the city. An elopement in Montmartre. Or a candlelit engagement session along the Seine. Whatever you’re dreaming of, my work captures it with a calm, observant eye.
With Paulina Perrucci as your Destination Wedding Photographer
Paris is one of the most photographed cities in the world for a reason. The light here is famously soft and golden. The architecture is layered with centuries of romance. Every corner offers a new frame. It’s a city built for love. Your photographs almost write themselves.
What makes Paris especially powerful for wedding photography is its contrast. Ancient stone meets modern fashion. Crowded landmarks meet hidden alleys. Public grandeur meets the private intimacy of two people in love. There’s depth here you don’t find in other destinations
Paris itself is endlessly cinematic. Cobblestone streets, Haussmann balconies, hidden courtyards, and tucked-away cafés. Couples are drawn to neighborhoods like the Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and the Left Bank for their character and atmosphere. The city rewards slow, observant storytelling.
Some Paris locations are iconic for a reason. The Eiffel Tower from Trocadéro at sunrise. Pont Alexandre III with its golden statues. The Tuileries Gardens. The Louvre courtyard. Montmartre’s white domes and winding streets. These are the views that have defined Parisian romance for generations.
From central Paris to nearby chateaux, here are the places that make Paris weddings unforgettable:
Paris is the launchpad for some of France’s most romantic destinations. The Loire Valley chateaux. The French Riviera coast: Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Èze, Nice. Provence’s lavender fields. All within reach. Couples planning multi-day events often weave Paris together with one of these regions.
Just outside the city, France’s most beautiful chateaux host some of the world’s most extraordinary weddings. Chateau de Champlatreux, a private 18th-century estate. Chateau de Chantilly to the north, with its lakes and forest gardens. Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte to the south, the inspiration for Versailles itself. Chateau de Versailles for those rare events at the king’s palace. Each chateau brings its own grandeur to the day.
My work blends editorial elegance with documentary storytelling. Expect unhurried portraits in golden Parisian light. Candid frames of real laughter and real tears. The quiet, observed details: the handwritten vows tucked in a pocket. The dress catching morning light in the window. A first kiss under a wrought-iron lamppost. I work calmly and discreetly. My presence lets you forget the camera is there. You stay in the moment with the people you love.
I photograph with an editorial eye but a documentary heart. The result feels both elevated and deeply personal. Wedding photographs you’ll still want hanging on your walls in twenty years
"During the wedding ceremony, Paulina blended in and was stealthy in capturing the moment while respecting how important it was for us to be fully present."
"Paulina was beyond everything we could have hoped for in a wedding photographer. Her energy is contagious and she made us feel so at ease - our guests are still commenting on how great her energy was!"
“Her positive energetic personality kept every guest/family and bridal party members happy and laughing throughout the entire day and during photos.”
Most importantly, it's your first heirloom as husband and wife. This wedding album, is something that will be saved forever and passed down for generations. I create timeless, customizable albums that perfectly describe your love.

Most couples choose May, June, September, or October. Mild temperatures, long golden hours, and gardens in full bloom or autumn color. July and August are warmer and busier with tourists. Winter weddings in Paris can be magical and quieter, especially around the holidays.
Both are options. Many international couples handle their legal paperwork at home and have a symbolic ceremony in Paris. It’s often simpler and equally meaningful. Others choose to navigate France’s legal process, which has residency requirements and varies by arrondissement. Whichever route you choose, I photograph the day exactly as it unfolds.
Travel arrangements vary by collection and destination. Some couples include flights and accommodations in the package. Others coordinate directly with their venue or room block. We’ll figure out what works best for your wedding during our consultation.
Paris weddings, particularly in peak season (May to October), are typically booked 9 to 18 months in advance. Reach out as early as you can to lock in your date.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding in Paris, I’d love to hear from you. If you’ve already booked your chateau, your seventh-arrondissement venue, your sunrise Trocadéro elopement, even better. Let’s tell its story.
