When you are booking a vacation, you are wanting to find the best location where you can mentally check out and just be pampered. That is the ultimate vacation mode. At the Grand Residences Riviera Cancun resort in Puerto Morales Mexico, they really did take luxury to the next level.  Truly, from beginning until the end of my stay, they treated me like a queen! No wonder it is a Leading Hotel Of The World.

No need to book a driver to grab you from the airport to the hotel, they have their own personal black SUV with WIFI to get you and your luggage.  I have yet to stay at a hotel that does that for all of their guests, not just the VIPs. Plus, my personal favorite touch, the driver asks you what drink you would like when you arrive, and they will have it ready for you from their gorgeous lobby bar!  Tequila is my poison, so of course I asked for a margarita! 

Suite Accommodations

After checking into the hotel, and receiving your all-inclusive wrist band, they will golf cart you to your room.  We had an Ocean Front Master Suit, and it was basically an apartment. You enter through one main door, that leads you to 3 doors: The Master Suite, Junior Suite, and the Junior Suite DD. The Junior Suites have balconies, one with a personal hot tub and the other with an ocean view. Also, they each have their own kitchenettes. The Master Suite, which is in the middle of the two has a full kitchen. Not only that, it has 1.5 bathrooms, a washer and dryer, not only a master bedroom, but 3 additional Murphy beds. This room is truly the ultimate room for not only big families, but friends wanting to stay together. My favorite reason for it is not just honeymoons, but even hosting for a mini wedding. If you reserve the bottom floor, it has its own hot tub and private infinite pool.  You can easily have a table for reception and a ceremony site under the wood awning, and a chef cooking in the kitchen. You can easily reserve all 3 suites and use it for your family vacation or special event. I’m telling you, there are so many amazing reasons as to why you should rent the Master Suite or one of the Junior Suites. You can’t beat the stunning views from the ocean suites. 

Pools, Kid Center & Sport Center

If you don’t reserve an ocean front view, don’t worry, the hotel property is stunning to see too! Especially all of the mangroves they have planted throughout the hotel property. These plants are endangered and they are helping save these plants. How amazing is that?! Aside from the gorgeous mangrove gardens, the views from the pools are amazing. There are 3 pools: a lap pool by the lobby that is attached to the sports center, a pool with a swamp bar (every adults dream), and an infinite pool that looks out to the ocean. The spot center has boogie boards, snorkel gear, and you can do a bike tour into town. Plus, a major perk for parents, there is a kid center! You can drop your kid off all day, while you enjoy the swim up bar!

Teal Water and White Sandy Beaches

Speaking of the ocean, that warm teal colored water is hypnotizing. It’s hard to look away, and as much as I love sunsets, I hate to see the night sky drop over the waves. I do love the sound of the ocean. Every night, I would sit on the balcony listening to the waves crash along shore. It was so soothing, it helped me fall asleep. Then the next day, I’d get up early and make my way to the beach. All the guys who work at the pool or beach are over the top friendly and knew me by name! Can you believe it? I had not met everyone who worked their, but they knew me! Now that is over the top luxury. Plus, a total perk is they give you Evian mists to help cool you off! That was probably my second favorite touch! 

Onsite Activities

There are so many activities at the Grand Residences Riviera Cancun for you to do on site! From cooking classes, workout classes, trivia games, bike rides into town, and even high tea. What’s really fun is the kid area! This is not only a kids heaven, but a parents dream come true! Parents, you can literally drop your kids off at day care, while you enjoy sitting at the swim up bar all day or laying on the beach. Not only do they. Have amazing activities, but a relaxing spa where you can get your nails done or have a soothing massage. Plus, they have a gym with so many different machines. Also, there is a market where you can buy groceries to even cook in your room. If you don’t want to do the shopping, they have employees who can do it for you. Just another reason why the Grand Residences Riviera Cancun truly is luxurious.
