A Brindare wedding is the kind of experience I return to again and again. Not just because it photographs beautifully, but because it holds something. A quality of light. A sense of place. There’s a feeling that the land itself is part of the day. Brindare in St. Helena is one of those places.

You might know it by its former name, Tre Posti. I photographed weddings there for years. I always left feeling like I had spent the day inside a painting. The signature cypress allee frames sweeping mountain views. A wildflower cottage garden hides a beloved iron sculpture in the roses. The vineyard ceremony space looks different at every hour of light. When the property rebranded to Brindare, what made it special stayed the same. A few things got even better.

The Bridal Cottage at Brindare, Newly Renovated

As a result of the rebrand at Brindare, you may have heard about the bridal cottage refresh. It shows. The space is now genuinely luxurious. Cream walls, high ceilings with original crown molding, and a massive arched gold mirror. A plush white shag rug anchors the room. Two velvet sofas add warmth and texture. The natural light is extraordinary! It’s exactly what every photographer dreams of capturing during the bridal portraits. Because of this beautiful natural light, I was able to capture stunning portraits of the bride and her friends. Large windows flood the space with soft, directional light that makes getting-ready portraits effortless.

The Palette for This Brindare Wedding: White and Sage

This Brindare wedding had one of the cleanest, most considered palettes I have seen. White, everywhere, with sage and warm gray grounding it. White roses and baby’s breath carried through every arrangement. The bridal bouquet, the ceremony arch, the aisle clusters, the reception centerpieces. Ultimately, it all looked cohesive. Additionally, the bridesmaids wore soft sage dresses. Plus, the groomsmen wore matching sage ties. The groom chose a warm stone gray suit that worked beautifully against the vineyard green. Nothing screamed for attention. Everything worked together.

Brindare in Summer: A Napa Valley Wedding Backdrop

I have photographed Brindare across different seasons. Summer, in particular, is something else. The vines are at their fullest. Deep green rows stretch toward the Mayacamas Mountains. The cottage garden is in full bloom, with lavender, roses, and flowering perennials. Nearby, that beloved iron sculpture stands watch in the corner. The cypress all is breathtaking. Each tree is at its most vivid.

We did the first look under the lemon trees near the main house. A quiet moment in dappled shade, before everything else began. Then we moved into the garden, the allee, and the vineyard for couple’s portraits. Every spot on this property gives you something different. All of them feel distinctly, beautifully Napa.

The Ceremony at This Brindare Wedding

This couple held the ceremony in the vineyard, with chairs arranged in two sections on the sandy ground. Overhead, string lights ran the length of the space.A lush white floral arch sat right at the vine rows, with the mountains behind it. The aerial view captures something I always try to describe to couples. You are surrounded by wine country. Mountains, vines, open sky. Nothing between you and all of it.

The recessional is one of my favorite frames from the whole day. The bride raised her bouquet high, her face completely lit up. That image says everything.

Dinner Under the Stars at Brindare

Next the reception moved to Brindare’s enclosed garden lawn. It is a tucked-away space that feels like an outdoor room. Mature trees on every side, string lights woven overhead. Round tables with white linens and low white floral centerpieces filled the lawn. The aerial drone shot looks straight down at the tables against vivid green grass. It is one I will keep returning to!

Glow Sticks, Converse, and a Brindare First Dance

I have photographed a lot of first dances. I have never seen glow sticks. Guests were handed colorful glow sticks as the couple took the floor. When I looked up, the whole room was waving light. It was joyful and a little ridiculous in the best way. Look closely at the bride’s feet during the first dance. She had swapped her heels for white Converse sneakers. That small detail told me everything about this couple. They knew what mattered to them, and they did things their way. In the end, they had a great time doing it.
